Mammoth Snowman Snow and Weather Report 4-8-2017


4-8-2017 6 AM – Good morning from Mammoth Mountain, we have moderate snow falling at this time. There is a Winter Storm Warning in place until 5PM today. Sunday looks to be bluebird. So far we have 30 inches of new snow at Canyon, 36-40 inches at Main Lodge and over 4 feet of new snow over the powder fields of Mammoth. Read more at the link below...>>>>>

Mammoth Snowman Report & Powder Forecast 4-5-2017


Thursday night a Strong Storm for the month of April is moving in. Water content from this moderate AR event will be in the 2-5+ inch range. That would add up to 2-5+ feet of snow for you powder hounds. Snow levels look to start around 7500-8000 feet and then lower down about 500 feet on Friday. Mammoth Snowman Report - 3-25-2017


3-25-2017 – 4PM– Good day from Mammoth Mountain. We have about 6-12 inches fresh snow out on the hill today. Sorry for the lack of reports and fresh images, Snowman picked up a virus that will not let go. However today we had our Snowman fans send me some great images and an update on the snow conditions. So here is the report I got so far, we have some fun powder out on the hill this AM. Everything from the trees of 15, to the face’s of 3 and 5 had some real fun stuff. Kiwi Flats on Mammoth Mountain with Ryan Hurley - YouTube


Kiwi Flats is one steep and mean run. It's only skied able in the big snow years. So with a 30 foot base and the conditions just right Ryan Hurley goes for it. He had planned this route out for weeks.
