⛷️1-8-2020 - 2 PM Good afternoon, The hill is in great shape with a 4-7 foot base of Wind Buff and Machine Groomed Packed Powder. All lifts and runs are open and the Unbound Parks are just about 100% built out. 🏂
High clouds are moving in ahead of a cold front that looks to bring a dusting to an inch of snow to Mammoth Mountain on Thursday.
This weak little system could bring snow showers with a dusting of snow to all areas in the southern Mono county area. There could also be some snow falling down into Bishop on Thursday morning or at least in the surrounding foothill areas.
Friday looks to be pt sunny with some gusty winds to 40 MPH possible, as of now the forecast is for winds to be out the NW turning SW later in the day. Highs will be in the upper 20s to low 30s.
🌬️🌬️The trend for weak cold systems to come into the area will continue on Saturday with a chance of snow showers and a dusting of snow up to half an inch. Skies will be cloudy all day with strong gusty winds 55-75+ MPH out of the SW over the mid to upper mountain.
