4-3-2015 – 4:03PM – Welcome to Spring on Mammoth Mountain. We have clear skies today and we expect the same on Saturday with highs in the 30s & 40s with SW winds gusting to 35-50+ MPH over the higher elevations. By Sunday we have a chance for several inches of snow for a possible White Easter. More possible snow on Tuesday night into Wednesday. You can say good bye to the warm weather for the next 6-10 days. I posted some images of what it looked like below. Our Snow base at this point is on the wane with a base of 6 to 50 inches out on the hill. The grooming crew is trying to save the base by pushing snow off of closed runs and out of the half pipe and slope style courses. Snow wise we are skiing and riding on machine groomed spring snow.
