It s May 3, 2015 at 8:03AM. Welcome to spring time here in Mammoth Lakes. Photos McLeod Lake April 28th, 2015 Highs today around 64 in Mammoth Lakes, with lows in the 30 s. We should see 50s in the Mammoth Lakes Basin and in the Main Lodge at the ski area.  As we move into the new week we will have a 20.40% chance of thunder storms.  Rain and Snow will become more likely as we move thru the week.  Temperatures will also drop about 10 degrees by mid week. The current snow line is 9500+ feet and above in direct sun light.  This years drought is going to have all trails open earlier then we have ever seen.  Not going to many bugs or much water running.  Make plans now for a early trip to the Eastern Sierra.
