8-25-2015 – 8AM– Good Morning from Mammoth Lakes. We have clear blue skies, the smoke line is south of town. We do have a few smoke streaks high above town at this time. Expect the smoke line to move back into town later today and into the evening hours. As of Monday the Rough Fire had grown to over 50,000 acres with an increase in containment to 17%. 2,126 personnel are currently assigned to the Rough Fire. We can expect off and on periods of smoke until they get this fire under control. Current weather conditions: As of this post I have a temperature here at 8175 of 52, up at the Main Lodge it’s 57 and at the top of Mammoth Mountain it is 50. Winds are 0-5 in town, SW 15-23 MPH at Main Lodge and over the higher elevations winds are out of the WSW @ 20-30 MPH. Highs today in town look to reach 74-79 degrees. Up in the Mammoth Lakes Basin and around the Main Lodge highs will be in the 60s. Lows in the area will be in the 40s for all elevations. Highs will slowl
